Got word through queencitymotorsports.com that Jim "IMZIE" Iholte passed away 2/5 in florida where he spend his winter months.

Jim was a scorer, flagman and pit stewart at The Burg and Florence and at other tracks in the past.

I met Jim several times last year and found him to be a wealth of information and fun to be around.

Cecile. I know this hits your family hard. Any more info you can give us on him.

Rest in peace to a man I made a quick friendship with and who shared lots of info from my earliest days of racing (Early 70s burg)
