The skills that are showcased in this race is unbelivable-these drivers rock!! Over 2 hrs on those bikes at those speeds on those banks is off the hook. They were 5 wide at the line one lap. Great racing!

i read that the 600's top speed is 175 that ran the 200. still fast on a bike and takes big ones. the ama super sports 1000cc's hit 195. i think speed has them on saturday night sometime after 10:30 taped.

I'm probably all wet on this, but I was thinking they are all running as one "class", with just a few pounds between the different cc bikes, and The Yamaha 600 R6 still wins most of them. I turned it over, with about 4 laps left, and if I caught it right, the 600 that won, is a husband and wife team, and she dropped her's about 12 laps from the finish. Don't take long for a pit stop and fuel and a tire! Shazam! Bob

If you like this type of racing and haven't been take in the Moto GP at Indy this year. The first year when it rained they were doing 177 mph down the front straight in the rain. Last year was good weather and they were running 200 mph. A 3 day general admission ticket was only $75.00 where you can sit in the grand stands or mounds. It is awesome to watch these riders lean those bikes in the turns where their knees are on the pavement.
