Hansen Park Stadium still hosts Chicago Public High Schools sports in 2009. The local alderman back in 1948 helped killed off midget racing because of noise complaints from the neighborhood. The track is at Fullerton and Central on the the northwest side of Chicago.

Excellent info on Hanson Stadium. Pulled from www.chicagolandautoracing.com I believe. This site started by Stan Kalwasinki has exellent info on many old chicago area tracks.
