The World’s Home of the Figure 8® is proud to announce that the Legend and Bandolero try drive program continues on Saturday October 17th. You too can drive on the historic Speedrome racing surface in a real racecar. Hosted by Performance Racing Products, the nation’s most popular small car racers have an opportunity available for everyone to try their hand behind the wheel. Each race ready Legend test drive is just $50 for 10 laps with Bandolero sessions going for just $25 for 10 laps (ages 8 and up). Additional sets of laps are available for a discount price. Expert instructors will guide you through this reality racing adventure. These Try Drives will take place Saturday, October 17th from 2pm to 5pm plus after 6:30pm.

Legends cars are 5/8 scale replicas of classic coupes and sedans of the 1930’s that were modified into the fordable racing machines of NASCAR’s grassroots history. But don’t let their size fool you, these are serious racecars powered by 1200cc, 4-cylinder Yamaha engines delivering 122 horsepower which is more than enough to give you some major league racing thrills.
Bandoleros are a turn-key, spec racer designed for drivers as young as eight years old and the young-at-heart at any age. It provides the perfect transition from karts to Legend cars with only 150 parts making up the entire package. A sealed Briggs & Stratton Vangard engine that produces 30 horsepower is mounted on this well-constructed fully tubular framed chassis. It is a proven combination for you to get into racing.
