Will anyone be at Waynesfield tonight that can do updates?

All I got were the top 3 from the feature:

Stanbrough, Faas and Moffatt. Heard 34 cars were there.

Those that didn't go, missed one hell of a show for $12!!!!

T-Mez slipped off the backstretch in his heat, and slammed the big round hay bale at the end of the wall in 3....a big 'high flyer' barrel roll in the air, coming down near the race track exit drive, knocking down the traffic light during his decent from orbit.

Chuck Wilson hopped a wheel in 1 running the bottom, and dumped his 31...unhurt, but done for the night.

The Hazen crew got the 57 car fixed, and T-Mez won his B (tough race between T-Mez and Steve Ott)

T-Mez started 19th, and was up to 3rd with two to go...slapped the wall in 3-4, and flattened the RR. I think he still finished 5th or 6th. He ran the piss out of that car

Great action from front to back in the feature.

Jon threaded the needle coming off of 4 between Moffat and Faas to take the lead, and the win.

Then Stanbrough gave one of the most classy winner interviews I believe I have ever heard.

The three different support classes, and their races, were pretty good too. Plus the entire show was completed before 9:30PM

Yes. Jon Stanbrough won it in the Peterbilt 7. T-Mez was by far the man tonight in the A-Main. He was a rocket coming through the field in the A. "The Iceman" Coleman Gulick made his triumphant return behind the wheel tonight and looked pretty good in my opinion. Will be watching that young man with great interest in the future.

Full results will be posted sometime before morning by Track photographer SkinnyKenny. Thank you to all of the teams, drivers, and especially the fans for showing up tonight. I was glad to see a couple IOW shirts in the crowd tonight despite the cool temperature and a Sunday evening race.

First, congratulations to Jon on a great win. He had to come from 8th starting spot to get it and it was not easy. Nic Faas and Joss Moffitt (in the 2c car) were duking it out pretty good. They were all fast. Congrats Jon..

Coleman finished 8th tonight in his return to racing action. Although he was disappointed with his finish, he did exactly what we asked from him tonight; race hard, clean and get the feel back. We called it his "first rehab assignment". He did a fine job. We were moving up early then slid back as far as 14th. Then he got a groove going and was passing good cars.

Our car, and driver, loaded up in good shape. Coleman did not seem to have any ill effects. It was great having such a good friend of ours win the feature and another close buddy of Coleman's, Nic Faas bring home 2nd. We are happy for both of them. We are saddened at the news from Terre Haute. It is tough to rejoice at all with the outcome at that race. Our Prayers are with the Rutz' and the other drivers involved.

Pete,

For the first time back I thought Coleman handled himself very well. I enjoyed watching him come toward the front without tearing up the car or anyone else's. It was difficult to watch the battle up front and try to watch back in the pack for T-Mez and Coleman coming to the front. A great night of racing for the final 2009 show at Waynesfield. Hope to see you at da burg.
