I know that most of Indiana was inundated with rain last night. Even though the forecast for Saturday is grim everywhere there's only a 30% chance of rain tomorrow. My question is this: Do you think the damage has already been done as far as Gas City is concerned? I know that Moler in Ohio has already cancelled and even though GC is my first choice, If I knew they were cancelled early enough, I could go elsewhere (like Attica OH or even Lernerville PA) before heading to Indy on Saturday. Thoughts? Suggestions? Favorite pizza recipes?

Looks like they got a half an inch yesterday and another half inch today. The pits won't be flooded, but the parking and the track????????? Don't give up yet. As for the Pizza, being from Cincinnati I prefer Larosas. There is one at Lawrenceburg. Exit 275, turn right onto 50 and it is on your right. Call ahead at 513-347-1111 and tell them the Greendale location.

Given that Lernerville is almost 400 miles from Indy, might I suggest the POWRi midget and micro/Sprint Invaders (360s) show at Jacksonville, which is "only" 243 miles from Indy?

illiNOISE: I'm sure the Jacksonville program would be awesome; the problem is that it's 2 more hours from home than the other options and there is a 60% chance of rain. Since the storms will be moving West to East, as far as Friday goes, I think I'd have a better chance East of that area. However, after you mentioned that option I re-checked the weather and they've lowered the chance of rain for Saturday to 50% around Indy and 30% for Eastern IL.
I think I've spent more time on weather web sites today than I have in the past 6 months. I'd probably be just as well off flipping a coin! :2:

After my experience at the USAC show on April 17, I certainly would not recommend that you go to Gas City. If it isn't rained out, I would bet the track will be bad and the show late. Although I love the KISS races, I will not take another chance and drive to Gas City. I sincerely hope that Gas City gets their track prep right, but don't plan to return until they do.

Sitting at the track right now, they worked it this A.M. As of 5 pm there are putting water on it. GAS CITY is looking good.

If Mother Nature cooperates and it is still looking possible, I'm going to make a break for it about 2:30 tomorrow.

After my experience at Gas City on April 17,I would recommend it.Instead of racing on a bad surface they reworked it so it would be racy at feature time(That what I go for anyway). If you have to be home by 10 I don't know of any track you can go too on a regular basis

I just hope to see a race somewhere tomorrowweather it's IN,OH,IL

S.O.B I just remembered I'm on call! It's Gas City or bust
