Go to http://www.openwheel.org to get live results for night #2 at East Bay. You can also go to the chat room and shoot the breeze while watching the results come in. To access the chat, you will need to register for the message board first. That registers you for both the message boad and chat room.

Good run for em. I caint believe how much the winter nationals have went down in car count. Seems like East Bay is getting what they want, Getting rid of the open wheels and making it a Late Model place. Sad, that was once one of the best places to race and go watch the races. Sure hope it can turn around. I also hated it when they took the clown out of there a few years back. Caint remember what the clowns name is but it was a fan friendly place.

Have you seen the crowds and car counts for the Late Models???? That is why Winternationals are geared around them.

Yeh I have been to the late model shows and the sprint shows and even been there during the regular season. I also been to Valosia(sp) during there winter national programs and have seen car haulers lined all around the outside of turn 1 & 2. Unfortuantly I didnt get to make it this year. I jsut think it is sad that East bay used to have a good strong 360 show and limited sprint show. but the last several times I have been there it seems like they just want rid of open wheel all together. Living in Fla. for just a short time I got the feeling that they could care less about the sprint cars anywhere.

I was down there in May a couple years ago, and what I remember was that they seemed to have some goofy motor rules in their weekly classes. At that time, they only ran sprints every other week, and they were more of a limited class. Maybe that has something to do with it?
