I'm going to be in Lafayette Oct 13-15. What Indiana tracks will be running either 10/13 or 10/14? I'd like to sneak out & get one last Meth(anol) fix before winter sets in!

The only racing going on in the area that I know of will be the Micro Sprints at US 24 Speedway.

US 24 Speedway is west of Logansport In. about 35 miles northeast of Lafayette.

The Covered Bridge Festival in Parke County will be in session from Oct. 12-21. If you like to see some sights and don't mind huge crowds, that might get your mind off the fact that there is no racing. I always enjoy going to Rockville and some of the other area locations, and then heading up to The Beefhouse at Covington, IN for a great meal.

Not sure if this will fill your needs, but the
USAC FORD FOCUS MIDGET SERIES NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP is at the ANDERSON SPEEDWAY

Interesting, but the USAC FF race is on the USAC schedule but is not on the Anderson schedule. Can anyone confirm the race will take place? Would love to go if it is being held.

I just talked to that "One Man Driving Machine" Chett Gehrke,and he confirmed that the Focus series will be racing at Anderson on Sunday afternoon.

Thanks Folks! I might try US 24.

They (Don Kenyon) passed out flyers at the SC Festival last weekend for the FF race. USAC hasn't really promoted it anywhere other than their own website as far as I can tell. Probabaly going to be a heck of a race anyway. Practice Saturday before the stockers regular show and full Ford Focus show plus Kenyon Car Special Event as support series.
