Per Kokomo’s FB post, Cummins wins sprint feature over Leary, takes 2022 Kokomo track championship.

You can't make that stuff up.👏

I thought it was interesting that Leary was driving a car with a red tail tank with an "81" on it. I wonder if that was one of Robert Ballou's old tail tanks from earlier in his career?

Maybe a tribute to Jon Stanbrough ? Saw him pull out a last turn pass for the win at Kokomo in the Jack Hewett Classic one year.

That is the car that CJ owned. It's been 81 for a while. Gray's/Gray's Auto bought it from CJ but he still runs it for them. Basically it's his non USAC ride. He wins alot in that car, won the BOSS race at Montpelier earlier this spring in that car.
