IMHO, the next gen car is in trouble, I got in late to see all the practice, but what I saw wasn't what I expected, I first thought it was the track, and it is, till the old cars proved it wasn't, probably the best racing I've seen out of nascar in years, some were prepared, others not so much, I enjoyed watching them for a change, when at least 3 cars dominate the scene, they came to race, and the rest came to learn, the 07 Ford was there to do what he did, as well as the chevies in pursuit, I blame the tire and wheel combo, and when you need a wrecker to get out of the grass, you need to consider 😀some things. I'll give them to day to figure out the answer, but I hope they didn't crush last years prints and info.

Seems eerily similar to same ole Nascrap. Will be glad for sprints and midgets to get going again in March.

Good race at Lincoln today, the feature was pretty good for a day show.
So happy to be with my racing family again. I think they have me talked into IMW.
Racing people are the best.

I Thought yesterday's race was really good. I think they may be in as good of shape as a series as I have ever seen. With that said, after a year away, I am ready for open wheel racing in person.

I rarely watch NASCAR because invariably it seems like some guy I don't like is 12 seconds ahead of the field before a "competition caution" or "stage break" bunches up the field etc...
But yesterday was a good race. And it was nice to see new guys up front. Don't know if it'll last, but 2022 is a step in the right direction for once.

I thought the racing sunday was fine if not better than ever, they were passing like crazy and swapping position. The low profile tire and flat underbody though are killing any movement after a flat. Heck Elliot hit the wall early and was passing larson at the end with a run which larson put him in the wall surely not intentionally but the car was still racy after early problems.
I watch because our boys and girls are in it better to have the best in the land RACERS in it than all the buy a rides...
Also seems weird that the solving of loose lugs etc with the center lock wheel is resulting in cars loosing wheels, From a fans perspective THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS as what we seen at Indy once with a fan in top of the stands getting hit by a loose wheel that was hit by another car.

Chuck, I was there that day, infield probably, as I was was when Sachs and McDonald crashed, and other times, I think nicecar got greedy with the lugnut fines, I get the point, but if the wheels didn't come off, why the fine. It doesn't show up in pit stop times, but it's a new thing, and time will tell, but the AAA is going to have to speed up, or maybe they will put a couple of tires and a jack in the car, and let the driver do it.
