I know that this isn't a NASCAR site, but Lindsay Czarniak has been conducting interviews with drivers and their families on NASCAR Race Hub for a few weeks and interviewed Kyle Larson and his family just before his firing. She interviewed Bubba Wallace yesterday and elicited comments from Bubba about the infamous comment. She has done other interviews where there is some overlap into open-wheel racing. I am very impressed with her skills!

Ron / Open Wheel,
I'm with you guys. Very impressed with Lindsay. She is very knowledgeable about auto racing and has excellent interviewing skills. The other thing I'm impressed with is she has the respect of the drivers and crew members. You earn that respect with honesty and intelligence about the sports you are involved with.
Here's a short bio of her. I do remember her on ESPN.
Lindsay Ann Czarniak (born November 7, 1977),[2] is an American sports anchor and reporter. She currently works for Fox Sports as a studio host for NASCAR coverage and a sideline reporter for NFL games.[3] After spending six years with WRC-TV, the NBC owned-and-operated station in Washington, D.C.,[4] Czarniak joined ESPN as a SportsCenter anchor in August 2011 and left ESPN in 2017.
She has also been a pit reporter and studio host for TNT's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series coverage and a former co-host and reporter for the syndicated The George Michael Sports Machine. Czarniak served as a host and sportsdesk reporter for NBC Sports coverage of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, Chin
