Belleville is only a week away and it would be interesting to know who'll be in attendance. The race organizer told me earlier in the week that USAC was supposed to provide them with an entry list, but I haven't heard anything more, and there's nothing posted on the website.

I can make a fairly educated guess about the midget field, but I'm real curious how many SC teams will make the haul. Does anyone out there have confirmation from any of the champ car teams? I'd love to see a full field, but my heart tells me that won't be the case. Even 16-18 cars would be acceptable, and I believe they'll put on a tremendous show, running wide open all the way around that big 1/2 mile. I'm hoping this year's event puts the Midget Nationals back on everyone's "must see" list.

I'm anxious to see how many Dirt Champ cars will be there as well, and I agree with ya,16-18 would be great,hopefully more. I'll be there regardless.
