Why don't you just divide the racing, into two group's, the Have's, and the Have Not's, one group can run the "expresso" motors, the other group runs what THEY Built, put a cubic inch limit on it, no spec's other than must be a junk yard motor, any tire, and sit back and watch it grow, that's how it was in the hayday of the midget, that's why there were so many of them, no one was limited on their imagination, other then the cu in, and now I suppose one would want to make them all 4cycle, like the man said, the "pine knots" just want to see good competition, close racing, and hear the noise, and, they might even get excited enough to help a friend, or put in a little, to see him do better, the guy down the street, go and watch him race the car you helped him build, I kinda remember it being that way, when midget's were REALLY popular, about all I can do, is sit here and wait for my electric bill, that dictate's what I can do the rest of the month. Have a g'day!

It's an old concept dating back to post world war 2 midget racing.

The haves
The Offenhauser engine was the Goliath of racing for midgets and was the exclusive Blue circuit.

The have not's
The Red circuit was reserved for Ford 60s, Drakes, Simcas, Chevy V-4s and Fergusons
