I remember a Ray Croxton from Perkinsville, In. from years ago but doubt that he is still around.

hears what I know its not jeff claxton. This gentalman passed away a few years ago he lived in or around anderson indiana. He was involved in racing midgets around 1960 i think. From what I have herd he built his own stuff like most back then I should have pictures of the car tomarrow.

Well i went out to his place today what I found was a mini sprint built around 1991 complete with a Kawasaki 1000 with fuel inj built by Glen Nibel car was never raced soon after completing the car Mr Croxtons brother died so he never ran the car. They apparently did a lot of work through the years because I found a lot of midget parts from 50s 60s era and found several news paper articles about them. They are going to have a estate auction in august so if anyone has any knowledge of him it would be of great help so we can date the history of some of the vintage parts.

Is there a list of parts? 50's/60's could be Offy and Kurtis stuff or Chevy II and Edmunds stuff. Both potentially valuable for restorations and such.

Some stuff I know a little about of what we found 2 hand built brass radiators from the size of them i would say was built to fit a roadster, one tear drop shape oil tank also for a roadster I would guess, dash assembly for a early midget X 2. Three stainless exhaust pipes also from a early roadster. His wife said she thought there were some offy parts or engines but we have yet to locate any. there are also 2 old steering gears with steering wheels several midget rear end center sections and outer axle housings. A front spring assembly for a early midget I have only seen a couple where the spring runs left to right and the body of the car sits in the middle. Several break assemblies they look to be complete. 2 nose cones for a early midget. There are more parts but we are not sure what a couple carbs that we hanging on the wall look familiar but I'm not sure from what.
