For my Senior paper I am looking to persuade the reader of a few different ways to make open wheel racing safer and help reduce the number of injuries. I am in the need of sources or statistics from magazines, newspapers, or the internet and i am having trouble finding them. I need the sources before i can propose my senior project, and time is running out. Any help would be appreciated.

This may be a tough one. I did a quick search and found this. The research paper will cost you, and the info will be dated. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8037394

Good luck.

You can Google "safer barriers" and "head and neck restraints" to get you started.... just did both with a ton to choose from. Maybe start there... Hope it helps

I'd switch topics to curbing the cost of midget racing.

JJ,

My dad has over 40,000 magazines I am sure in them you can find what you need for your project. Contact me for a time so you can have a look around!!

Only in Indiana could a kid write a resarch paper on sprint car racing.

Joking asside, very few students get to write a paper where they have such a vested interest in the subject. Have fun with it.
