The prelim schedule on their website it dod not look well but I hope with Tom running the show we can get atleast a couple MSCS shows and then something fulltime in '09
We can only hope

Now people what did we learn from Molar........You are not going to get a solid car count for an open show when people have never seen the track before.
If you want sprints to be a regular class on the schedule then an MSCS show should be the first sprint show they will bring their car count and everyone will be able to see first hand the changes at the place

I think this was Molar's problem with non-wing last year. They ran 2 shows themselves and got 12 cars so the owners got scared and screamed non-wing will not work so they canceled the remaining shows and the MSCS show. On the other hand I think if they would have ran the MSCS show first gaurenteeing a car count they remaining shows would not have had less then 25 cars

Please guys......don't compare MRP to Union County Speedway or anything with my dad. He was just another employee there and as far as managment goes well I better just for once keep my mouth shut!!!! However I think that pretty much can answer itself as you have seen from last year. On another note we are very excited and can't wait for this racing season!!!!! Thank you for all your support and words can't express how much that means!:respect:

Sorry to get you upset I was not compairing them in a negative way or even linking them because Tom worked at both.

I know Tom loves what he does and pours his heart into any track he works at

I supported MRP on both of their non-wing show last year and thought the track had potentional for a great weekly show if they would only have commited fully to the sport

The compairson was simply to point out for Union County and all other tracks looking to run sprints for the first time that if scheduled correctly it can be sucsessful but if scheduled tentavaly with out a true comitment the car counts will struggle and then we will hear "this is late model country" or "this is winged country" and then we lose another track that will no longer run non-winged

It's ok Sean no offense taken lol.......I completely understand what you were trying to say! I just hope that the rest of the racing community understands and looks at the whole picture the same way. Have a good weekend!!!
