USAC hasn't updated the USAC/CRA points page yet, but I notice that Spencer finished ahead of Jones (Tony) both nights at Manzi, so that must have tightened the points a little. I assume that Jones must have taken a provisional last night and that the driver gets points even if he was a provisional starter. True?

Yes, Tony used a provisional and earned points. It's been that way for quite a few years.

With a maximum 74 points available at the only race remaining (Perris 11/17) hasn't Tony Jones won the championship since he has a 76 point lead?

What am I doing wrong? I click on Sprints, then on CRA Sprints, then on Points. I get a page of points before Manzy. Where did you find the updated points?

Just go by the press release of the finish.
