Ooops, I mean LOP
Great to see a resurgence of open wheel here at the scene of many great races.
However (and not to be negative ) the racing seems to be follow the leader to the point that I’m having trouble getting my family to attend.
Any reason for this? Thoughts?

They started straight up from qualifiying. Fine for long races, but awful boring for short races.

I’ve called pavement racing with USAC affiliation in recent times the Kody Swanson benefit series. While I’m one who was lucky enough to see USAC Sprint and Midgets back in the day when it was far more competitive, I struggle to be entertained. This past weekend in Indy Tony and Pat had to work way too hard to push the entertainment value. I’m glad asphalt racing is on an up tick, but it’s a long way from what it once was. Let’s hope it gets closer to its old glory

Is it USAC pavement racing or IRP? Guess we’ll find out at Winchester.
