Badger & IRA return for '09 Thiel Memorial
Beaver Dam, Wis., Oct. 20---Officials of the Badger Midget Series and IRA Sprint Cars Series, announced today that both series will return to sanction the 2009 "Eighth annual Sue Thiel Memorial" at Dodge County Fairgrounds. The event is scheduled for Friday Night July 3 at the Dodge County Fairgrounds.
A second Badger/IRA doubleheader has been added at the lightning quick half-mile dirt track for Friday Night Sept. 4. California's Cole Whitt (midget) and Scotty Neitzel (sprint car) captured the 2008 Thiel events run before a near-capacity crowd.
