You better come to the races with your phone fully charged because now you can follow and participate in this weekend's MOWA action at Federated Auto Parts Speedway in Pevely, Mo and 34 Raceway in W. Burlington Iowa through www.MOWALive.com

MOWALive is formatted for your mobile phone but all features are equally accessible from a desktop or laptop. (We will improve the non-mobile display next week. Ran out of time)

Here's what you can do on MOWALive.com

1. MOWA Pick 'em game. Register prior to the heat races each race night (you can start registering for Pevely now). Then as lineups are prepared throughout the night, select who you think will win each race. You get various points for each race. At the end of the night, the person with the most points wins. You can play in the grandstands, in the pits, in your home or anywhere you have a web-enabled device. (Since the program got finished 10 mins ago... we aren't sure yet what the winner's prizes will be for this weekend, but will announce it at the track) Winners will be contacted a day or two after each event.

2. MOWA Pit Box - See real time text messages from drivers and MOWA officials during race night. This is basically a private twitter type of program, where only selected individuals can post messages but everyone can read them. See why your favorite driver pulled off. Know what caused a driver to be DQ'd or anything else happening in the MOWA pits. MOWA Pit Box is our connection to the fans on race night.

3. Results and Lineups - Lineups and results are on MOWALive.com quicker than the printer can print them. No need to wonder where your favorite driver is going to start the feature. Find it instantly on MOWALive.

As you might expect, all of these features are in what we will call a Beta release. We have tested them extensively during development, but not in a live environment with sporadic internet access 2 hours from home. If you find a feature that doesn't work, please email us at mowasprints@gmail.com.
