I watched the video of the race last night Dave, and you had an amazing surface last night. That slide job that O'Neal threw on Birkhofer was just textbook

No "twin" Dave (the world is a better place for that), just a bored old guy with nothing better to do. No offense intended for LM lovers. It's just that old "different strokes"......deal.

I had thought that I didn't care much for LM's.....turns out that I was right.....not a big fan. The feature was very good after a bunch of early yellow. And, as Chris has correctly pointed out, the feetch is the main thing. The 4 heats and 2 B's were a waste of time with a total of 3 passes for position (none for the lead) after lap 1. They start everything straight up, fastest guys in front (). Track was however, to borrow a popular NASCAR adjective, "awesome".

Section "A" was a bit light with Gregg opting not to be seen at a fendered show. Ed and I thought we were home free when Rick Lane was arm twisted into not taking our pics, but no, the Bozo spotted us and ruined our reps here on IOW. Had a good time and Cherie (favorite 50/50 gal) was on her game, as always.

I have to agree, Marv....track was terrific!!...I, however, saw only one pass for position after the 1st lap(8th to 7th) in the first 3 heat aces. There may have been two others but I missed them if they ocurred or, maybe they were in the 4th heat, which, I didn't stick around for. Can't comment on the "featch" because I didn't see it....Again, though, great job on the track Dave and Crew!!!!!!!

Anyone who thought the LM or mod features were not spectacular is crazy.

Don oneal drove one of the smartest races ive seen in a long time. He tried every line possible and you could see him gaining every little tenth.

The modified feature was average until the last five laps. Groomer smashed the loud pedal with 5 to go and won it by a bumper.

They features did have a lot of cautions, but so did the sprint feature at paragon last night.
