I thought it was pretty cool of Dave to come out to the crowd to sign autographs for the kids during intermission at Kokomo sunday night. Made me even more of a Dave Darland fan.

This was good to see. The kids kept lining up and he signed pretty well until he had to leave or he was going to miss the sprint feature! I wish more events, drivers, and tracks would take opportunities like this to help grow the fan base and get future generations involved.

Josh goes to the stands every night, Sunday night was Dave's night so out of respect for Dave and his family Josh stayed in the pits. It was nice to see all the people lined up to talk with Dave on such a special night.

Dave is always a first class act. This really does help build up the fan base for future generations of race fans.
