Frankfort, Ohio
May 3rd is shaping up to be a fantastic night of racing as all divisons will be racing and there seems to be some Mod-Lite drivers looking to cash in on the $600 to win 30 lap main event also it was just announced that the 1000cc Midwest Mini Sprints will invade the 1/5 mile 35 Raceway May 3rd in Frankfort, Ohio 2 weeks earlier than expected. Tony Boetcher Promoter of 35 Raceway Park commented that he was contacted by Jeff Barnhart who indicated that several drivers would be willing to race for a regular 600cc purse and that some of the drivers / car owners may be able to subsidize the purse through sponsors. As several new drivers want to get a close set up, for $1000 to win race in 2 weeks at the speed plant, as neither the Midwest Mini Sprints nor the American Mini Sprint Association have scheduled races for this first weekend in May, it would be an ideal situation, And although it will be a non sanctioned race they will run under the Midwest Mini Sprint rulesAND MUST RUN AN AUTOZONE MUFFLER P/N 27657 WITH THE CAR NUMBER ATTACHED TO THE MUFFLER. For more information contact the Midwest Mini Sprint Association or 35 Raceway ![]() |
