Guess I'm lucky, no ill effects for me, my son or future son-in-law. My daughter is sick with the symptoms you describe and didn't even go to the races. Had a great time, met some really neat people. Hope everyone recovers as well.

for the last 2 years. I have been taking Airborne (tablets you drop in water and drink) and Zicam (chewable tablets) I take one of each in the morning and the same after the races. So far it has worked like a CHARM... give it a shot next year...

After a week of antibiotics & cortisone meds, I'm just now starting to feel better. I was coughing so bad they did a chest x-ray just to make sure I didn't have something more serious. Still cough so bad sometimes that I can't breathe but it's getting better. I normally don't get sick but there had to be something in the air this year.

Unfortunately, it got to me too. Took 5 days to recover.
Sure would hate to see the "Chili Bowl Flu" have a negative impact in future years. Don't have a solution but believe this needs to be addressed. |

Have not left Indiana and have the same stuff. Been told its an early flu season. I am a school teacher and about 1/4 of the students are out with it. Welcome to winter.
