Just wanted to give a shout out to Cole Whitt. He put his #84 Red Bull Toyota on POLE in his K&N Pro Series East Debut!!!

Ended up 4th in the Feature

The Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 150 will air on SPEED this coming Thursday, April 1, at 6 p.m. ET.

The NASCAR K&N Pro Series East will return to the track Saturday, April 3 at South Boston.

Nice to see the young guy start off strong. I hope he continues to impress the way we all know he is capable. I also noted that Jody Lavender had a great run from 20th to 3rd according to the final standings.

It doesn't say but I am assuming that this race was at the 1/2 mile Greenville-Pickens Speedway?

Yeah, I did look into his crew chief being Randy Cox who is/was the R&D guy at Red Bull Racing. I guess since the cars are the same as the Nationwide cars they are just another cup affiliated team. It's funny that half the field is series rookies, a couple are brothers of Cup drivers and yet a few have raced in this series over 5 years ago.

Good run otherwise, I was gonna go to South Boston next weekend for their race that runs with the Whelen mods. Indiana seemed like a better idea and I'm heading down the week after instead.
