ASCT welcomes veteran team

No Sweat in 2010.

It was just confirmed today that the WEE 3 racing team owned by Jim and Jeff Sweat based out of Fairmount Indiana will be competing in the entire 2010 ASCT Sprint Car Series. The Sweat family has signed the Greensburg native and racing veteran J.T. Stapp to fill the seat and stand on the gas in the family owned machine in 2010. The Sweat family has been running sprint cars since 1994 and is excited about competing for the 2010 ASCT Championship. Jeff Sweat will be fielding the ASCT effort while his father Jim will be running another car at local events this season. The 9 year sprint car wheeling veteran known as the “Tree City Tornado” is equally excited about the prospect of going for the top spot in this years ASCT points challenge. “We are committed to giving J.T. the best that we can and run in the ASCT Series and we are also looking forward to being a major contender for the series title this season,” says Jeff Sweat of their 2010 plans.

The elder Sweat is also offering specials for Rear End rebuilds to all of the ASCT teams. Jim has been rebuilding Rear Ends for several years now and is offering up his knowledge and expertise to all the sprint car owners that need to get ready for the 2010 season. Jim said that his labor charges average around $100.00. All car owners needing your Rear End freshened up give Jim a call today at 765-661-6597.

What happened to the other driver? Pierce? sp Ran very well at Kamp and held his own at gas city in that car. Last i knew he was running it this year.
