The two other nights pay as well. I tend to eat whether I'm at a racetrack or not so food isn't a very good argument.

Actually it's one and a half as much and almost half of the purse difference is the top 3 spots

I don't know what the cost difference is either but I would have to think the down force and drag of the wing would increase wear and tear on just about everything to do with the car quite a bit

The first 2 nights pay a standard USAC purse, which is not like the 360's at East Bay who ran for $1200 to win on the first night. One cost would also be a budget racer would have to miss a day or 2 of work.
