The more I think about it.........
I can't stop laughing- i'll never forget that 1 or the look on Mark Kinser's face!! We couldn't knock him off his barstool, but RT 41 sure did the trick!!
Oh yea, my race total was horrendous this year too. First time in I don't know how many years I didn't make it out to Indiana or at least to Eldora. I hope to make it off the porch much more this season.

I got to 25 races in five states...Indiana, PA, MD, WVA, VA and NJ. Better than the 16 I did the year before! I hope to do about the same or a couple better in 2010.

My 2009 season included 65 races in 6 different states. Three races in Indiana the rest around home here in the Pa area. Did see Usac, WoO sprint and late models, Ardc midgets, and many modified races. Looking forward to 2010 including a return to trip to Indiana.

I was just wondering why some of the IOW fan of year heavy hitters have not weighed in on this topic. I was able to hit about a dozen races this year, a far cry from the 70 to 80 races a year I would hit when I still lived in Indiana.

46 races, 3 states, I did get to the Indy 500 this year and I also saw 4 first time winners
Nick Bilbee @ Danville, Ill
Kenny Niflis @ Bloomington
Danny Holtsclaw @ Bloomington and last but not least
Blake Fitzpatrick @ Putnamville
Not as many as I would have liked I had a rough end of the year but the old lady and I are looking forward to our 1st trip to Florida in Febuary. We only have a week and were going to a race everynight. Looking forward to it.

Holtsclaw was far from a 1st time winner. He has 16 Paragon wins and 1 at Put before the Bloomington win. Check it out on Eck's database

And we thank you for your choice of "vacation" spots.

We are quite pleased that you're getting your 2010 year off to a good start.

24 races in 3 states, Manzy, USA Raceway Park, Canyon & PIR in Az., Oswego, N. Y. and Richmond, Va..

Silver Crown - 4
IRL -1
WOO - 2
USAC Sprints and Midgets
Oswego Supers
ISMA Supers
ASCS Sprints
SWDRA Late Models
Mod Lites

I also payed two visits to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum last year, one in May and one in Sept.. In Sept. I also went to the Unser Museum while going thru New Mexico, great place to stop the museum is well done.

The number of races I have attended on my summer trips east the past two years have been greatly reduced since the birth of my grandson. Given the choice of spending time with Donovan or going racing, Donovan won every time. This April he will become a big brother and grandmas racing on the east coast could be very limited.

Off to Tucson this weekend for some late model racing, while I am an open wheel girl, one of my friends sons has chosen late models and the other son mod lites the past few years so my racing is branching out.

Safe racing to all in 2010,

Patti
