Jerry summed it up very well but I wanted to add a few comments. This was an epic battle among the top two & later top three with T-Mez. Darland used the good cushion to his advantage & held off T-Mez & Bland in a real good race. This type of race is why we moved from PA to Indiana!! Thanks to Michael Dutcher for providing the 17 for Darland to race! Might have only been 23 cars there but you only need two or three to put on a performance like that!! Cushion was awesome & love to see them bounce their right rear off it & shoot down the stretches.

Bruce & Pat Eckel 😁😁😁😁

I brought a long time friend who had been attending auto races, mainly the two events at the Speedway and the NHRA nationals, but had been away from the sprint car scene for quite a while. This was his first trip to LPS and he was really impressed. He liked every thing about the place; the facility, the fans and of course the racing. A recent change freed up his Saturdays, so he will be making the trip to LPS again.
So glad to see Dave Darland prevail in a hotly contested feature. We all got our nickels worth on that one!
