Imagine if UMP points leader Devin Gilstap hadn't gotten torn up in hot laps even how much of a better modified feature it could have been. Or if Dave Beck had been able to run the whole feature. And as good as the Young and Miles battle up front was, how about Steve Schnap coming all the way from outside row nine to take the runner up spot? And all because the mods still had a decent track to run on, even after a 30 lap sprint feature on a warm, windy night.
I'd also like to thank Tommy Helfrich and crew for another quickly run program, with the sprints pushing off for their feature at 8:45 CT. Very much appreciated, since I had a 180 mile trek home on a Sunday night.

43 total cars in the pits and central time don't hurt either. Glad it was good.

I agree with you about the time zone helping out, but the fact that they can have 43 racecars in the pits, yet still have the crowd they did speaks to the fact that tracks don't necessarily have to have multiple support divisions on the card.

Not being critical, just stating the facts. Thats the a lot less wear and tear on a track. I figured it was a shot at one of the Midgetweek tracks that had 70 sprints and midgets. That is an apples and oranges comparison.Like I said glad it was a good show, as it usually is.
