hey steiny, we'll be in the stands at duquoin probably where we belong.
don't look for the 83 car till springfield next year. i'll have it out then even if
i have to put in the engine out of my '89 chevy pickup. i'm headed up to angell park
sat. then leaving for home immediately at the checkered, forgoing my usual post race
festivities in order to be fresh for sun. night! might not make it to the pits after due
to long drive home but i'll see if i can talk the guys into it.

Two Questions: Will it be free to anyone who walks by? And are State Troopers allowed?

Another great moment I'll never forget from DuQuoin is Nick Lundgreen in hotlaps back in, I want to say 2005... Sitting in the first turn watching him blast the high-side without lifting in the family owned #0 was definitely a sight. That's when I became a Nick Lundgreen fan... Just wish I got to see him race more often. Still one of my top 5 favorite drivers!

Anyone interested in sponsoring a nice looking race car would be greatly appreciated for the event but we will give the best effort possible either way. See everyone there.
Good luck Jarrod and Jon and the rest of team Fox!

Sorry to hear of your continuing motor woes, we're without for our Winged Sprint here in Minnesota, too. I'll be at AP on our way to DuQuoin, so we can catch up at one or the other.

Well, the Park Service says "Don't Feed The Bears", but everyone else is Welcome! See you Sunday!

Hopefully they'll be watching over the beer tent after the race.

If we're in the pits again this year we'll be sure to stop by and say hey Steiny!

Angell Park is Located in Sun Prairie Wis, it is a 1/3 mile clay track and home to the longest running weekly show in the country, and Home of the National Midget Auto Racing Hall Of Fame. It's been said, Angell Park is to midget racing to what Daytona is to Nascar, or Indy IRL/Cart, Knoxville/Grove Sprints, etc etc. This weekend is the tracks last race for 09, that being the 28th annual 'Firemen's Nationals" presented by Pepsi. The track is own and operated by the local Sun Prairie Volunteer Fire Dept. Go to www.angellparkspeedway.com. Come on up you won't regret it.

It is with a very sad and dejected heart that I will not be able to make it to Du Quoin for the Ted Horn 100. While at work today I suffered a severe leg injury that has me laid up at home all weekend. I have a friend who live across the street from me who is a nurse and she believes the bone may indeed be cracked but without an X-ray nothing for sure will be known. Going to see if it will get better over the weekend.

Sprntr and the 43 crew, get that checkered flag and have a cold one on me.

Everyone, please be safe traveling this weekend and I pray everyone has a safe and fun race.
