I know it's been a long time ago, but did Namars not shoot their selves in the foot when they decided to move to Michigan, I almost bought a midget, but didn't after they made that public, I then went to a TQ, and was glad I did!

I think the question is, how will IMRA and MARA schedule each other and will they tear each other apart, or help each other? Theoretically, a "built" MARA engine isn't legal at an IMRA show, much like we are not welcome at USAC D-2 shows...
Coles County and that other track down by them that I can't think of the name right now ran D2 rules bi-weekly last season. I assume they're doing it again.

Good point and my home track (Lincoln) does run MARA which is fun

But being able to se USAC at Macon was pretty special. only a 40 minute drive where I didn't have to worry about hotels? or sleeping in my truck? That was special

I'll be going down to Tri City to watch USAC this year. Just wish USAC could do a Jax, Lincoln, Macon, Farmer City, Coles County run

But I get Xtreme Midgets and POWRI can affect that

They have also been dropped from the annual Lucas Oil Speedway Open Wheel Shootout in Wheatland, Mo. and replaced by the 305 winged cars. (ASCS is replaced by the POWRI 410 winged cars as well.
Not good since that track has trouble surviving one winged class much less 2 although there may be fewr 410's than 360s and the 305s usually had less than 10 cars last year
