Wingless Super Sportsman at Williams Grove from a few years back. These guys put on great racing winged or wingless!

I think NowingsJeff made it pretty clear what the sportsmen were, Who, what, and where. For the Non wings.
There wasn't a porch, There wasn't a attack on wings There wasn't anything directed at you until you got personal I rest my case.

My apologies for responding to one of your many mindless posts.
FYI: I am a fan of non-wing sprint cars. ______________________________________ Smokey Snellbaker, one of my all-time favorite drivers, during a Silver Spring visit in 2004.

Rip smokey. I really miss seeing that guy around the track.
Anyway- went the the non wing super sportsman show at path last nite. 17 cars signed in....good show...I really enjoyed it. I hope they can get a full field and keep this deal going. They really put in some good racing. Hope the gentleman who flipped out of the park and into the parking lot is ok..he is for sure sore today. |

I also went to Path Valley last night. Close to a three hour drive out the PA turnpike from Philadelphia area. Might add basically went right pass Williams Grove to get there, debated with myself about twin 20's for the winged 410's and wingless ARDC midgets at the grove vs unknown wingless super sportsman at Path Valley. Three heats for 16 cars a little much, but it did give guys who normally race with wings more time to adjust to non winged with less cars on the track. All in all well worth the $10. If they did not have the problem with the fence repair when the car went through it I might have made it back to the Grove for the last sprint feature. Back home by 1 AM, got to mow the lawn before head back out to Lincoln for ARDC nonwinged midgets and winged 410's. Heading out to Kutztown Sunday for nonwinged 600 micros and nonwinged speedsters. Winged sprints are better than no sprints, but I prefer nonwinged racing over all!

Midgets at Path Valley is going to be something special.. If they can get 18-20 midgets, it might be the best race all year on the east coast. |
