I plan on coming to the banquet, but looks like Doug will still be in California . If you have a little time would you give me a call.

I just got off the phone with Bill May. He gave me the go ahead to bring my demo motor to the banquet. With it I can hopefully demonstrate the use of test plugs for internal inspection, My new design on a bore checker, and if I have time maybe a cam checker. With these devices we should be able to tec motors without dropping the oil pan and engine covers. We hopefully can speed up tec as well as keep out a lot of unwanted dirt.

I am still working out a deal to slow some of the faster drivers down. We are currently talking with drag racers about maybe using the idea of {bracket racing}

Dad, You should be safe without Doug, all attendees will be required to surrender their weapons at the door.

It sure is nice to know that I have such profound effect on so many people. It has only taken 66 years to reach this stage of perfection.

Oh well, guess I'll cut bate

Got to go home tonight and finish up on the demo motor. It should be pretty interesting. Should give the casual racer a better understanding how all these parts relate to one another and how easy these things should be to tec if everyone decides they want stock internals.

Last thing I want is to have to drill, weld or tap a hole in my motor for a plug. These motors are pretty efficient on proper air fuel ratio. Any addition plugs are a great place for air leaks to develop which will turn these air pumps we call motors in to oil pumps which will pump all the oil out of your motor. Or lean them out and make them melt down. Both making it very bad on longevity of a motor.

Good luck with the banquet / meeting, wish I was a little closer to attend.

Wish you were here. Some of this stuff is really simple and I don't see any way it could harm a motor, but it would allow for a stock internal class without TOO many racers B1tchen.
