In 01, there was a HUGE storm that rolled through, they ran the race, didn't start till like 10-1030. With as many people that come from out of town, id have thought they'd wait a little longer to call. But I guess I'll head up to mi and watch race online with my 2 year old daughter.

I cant say i had a lot of un happy people around me..but there was a group from wisconsin that knew they wouldnt be able to come back tonight, so they were def disappointed..but not mad..things like this cant be controlled..I do wish there was more sense of urgency though as there were a lot of people from out of town that I know will not be able to attend tonight. The last time i was there we had a couple rain delays and i remember not really going racing until closer to midnight/1am time frame(10+ years ago)..I am not quite sure on the rain on the visor thing either, but it was raining pretty steady before they called it last night. Hopefully we will get a little more cooperation from ma nature tonight but I will be watching the radar before leaving..

Will there be a practice today. And will the 2 involved in the crash be able to restart or will the 2 alternates.

I doubt there is a practice session..everything is locked and ready to go..as for the 2 that were involved..i dont know how they are going to do that..they got 3/4 of a lap in and the crash happened and they went right to red and never got it restarted again..total restart?

I'm in the same boat except I bet I spent much more on gas than anything!
And yes they will be able to repair and start(heard on racing radios) and the warm up sessions are scheduled for 6pm with the start at 8pm.
My question is, what if rain again?
Run Monday? Has anybody ever known of this happening in the past?
