I saw an old Offenhauser ad that said $1175. Not sure what year that was from though. Probably late 30's/early 40's.

What I know is that the last Offy at Calistoga was 1968 or 69. Sometime early 2000(?) Stan Vermeil was offered 200,000 for his offy powered sprintcar. From someone from down under. He did not sell it. That was from Stan the man.
