Made the trip to Haubstadt on Saturday, and like my trip to Bloomington in May and ORP last Thursday the rains came. One Indiana friend said "I must have brought the rain" - hmmmm I know he was joking or was he. Anyway, this does not dampen my Indiana racing plans for 2009 - "I will be back." I will see all my friends from Indiana hopefully at Haubstadt on 1 August. I will have to watch the weather a little bit closer this time.
Have a good day....see you at the races

The race was trying to keep up with Brady's hauler n/bound 41. We drafted a few miles but was hauling a seeded 40 lb. striper melon, super sweet corn. cantalopes. #2 heritage tomatoes all fresh out the patch. Without the extra weight we'd stayed with'em. Yeh, it rained out but, we'll be eating like we won the championship for a couple of weeks !! Last time we saw Brady on e/bound 50 he dissapeared in his own zipcode, as he often does, and we felt like we were standing still at 85 mph. Turnips might be ready in a few weeks !! Keep a eye out, one might fall off the wagon. Steve & Christie Bloomington

Seems like a lot of time in between August 1 and Sept 6 for the class track, Haubstadt, to be sitting idle
Sure would like to see the sprint/midget show rescheduled
