That is very sad news.

My thoughts and prayers are with Chad McDaniel's family, crew, friends and fans. This has to be a very difficult time for all of them. My thoughts and prayers also go out to Davey Ray.

So far the only news about this has been on www.kniakrls.com and the summary article of last night's event describing how the accident happened on www.desmoinesregister.com. Our prayers are with all involved.

Davey was involved in a crash last night at Knoxville Raceway. He flipped several times and was then struck by another car. Davey was taken to the hospital and later released with a broken knee cap. We are all just very sad to hear of the loss of Chad McDaniel. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Hagen has the point on this first lap and is up high on the cushion through three and four. Hagen takes 1-2 on the bottom. Right behind Hagen is Whitt and Coons, Jr. The bottom is still fastest as Hagen is on the bottom 1-4 The yellow is for Bacon who has come to a stop on the back chute. We have 4 laps down and it is Hagen, Whitt, Coons, Hines, Jones, Ehrgott, Brown, and Clark. Bacon has refired and goes to the tail. Whitt takes lap 5.
