Anybody that finds themself on a Saturday night, wondering which track you should go to that night, I would suggest you give this track a try. We've been over there twice and have left both nights glad we chose this place. Nice looking, sprawling facility, a track staff that seems like they all enjoy being there, a large group of race savvy fans and a pretty racy surface. Especially when you consider that it's a new team working together, that are just going to get better and better. And a note to a certain postal employee that frequents this board: If there's a better track cheeseburger anywhere, I'd like to see it.

It was great watching one of my favorite drivers take home the trophy tonight and kick the trend of bad luck he's had. But, had the race went another lap or two, he might have not. The big cat was definitely on the prowl and definitely added some drama at the end. And to Jon's credit, he might have been close enough at the end to have thrown one of those big sweeping sliders that you see often in this day and age, but he didn't. Regardless, once he finally got around AJ, and set sail towards BC, it looked like Jon has gotten his mojo back. Great show and, again, out of there at a decent hour.

I had Clauson, Stanbrough, AJ, Memmer, Holtzclaw, Siscoe. Gurley and Shuman were battling for 5th & 6th but both spun in turn 4 coming for the checker. I didnt see what happened. Way to go BC!

Man it was nice to go to a new racetrack tonight I really enjoyed it. Even though we drove two hours and went past putnamville on the way, I'd definitely go back. The joint is fast, even when it's slick they haul it in hard and put on a good show. Hot laps were real cool to see non wing cars never lift. Show was ran as fast and clean as possible can't wait to go back. I feel for chris and the truckers guys it wasn't necessary for them to go home with another one junked I just don't understand it.

Gotta agree with Jerry's comments. My first time at VCS, but I'll be back. I like the pay as you drive in deal and the general attitude around the place. Plenty of parking. Car count was of course enhanced by the rain outs and it was a great field. We were in the pits and it looked like there were a couple of hundred cars (all classes) or more there. Really impressed with the way they ran the show with minimum down time. If I have any criticism at all, it would be on the lighting. Either it's my old worn out eyes, or it's dark out there. 53 looked the best I've seen it this year. Clauson drove a great race and had to. A slight bobble or a late caution could have cost him the win. Expecting to make more trips to VCS!!!!

I am glad to hear this place is doing well. Hope we can get someone to do better updates in the future. I like to know who's doing what and and complete race run downs. Thanks for what we got though.....I really apreciate it!
