It was a joke.
My friends at one time used to call sprint cars and midgets Tumble Buggies & or Push N’ Flips. Just the same as open wheel fans calling fender cars tin tops, taxi cabs, or calling Modifieds mortifieds. It just seems ignorant. Especially when you’ve never worked on one or races one.
No disrespect to those who injoy that type of racing.
Although I posted it on Facebook. I want to give a huge thanks to Montpelier and Larry for bringing the Midwest Thunder Midgets to Montpelier on several occasions this year! Montpelier has always been one of my favorite race tracks to race at. (Even though I had a pretty serious flip there and almost no luck there.)
Montpelier is a stock car track, and always has been and that won't change. They have sprinkled in some good shows this year with the return of the boss series, the series opener, and the summer nationals date. The Indiana midget week shows were top notch there as are all midget shows. I'm sorry some don't like the stock cars or the mods, but that is what brings the fans there, and all the classes put on a great show.
