Does anybody have a list of drivers for the Midget events at Red River and Thunder Hill.

Best I'd say,would be to check pts. at USACRacing.com...n' go from there!!...You'll see who went out West,in hopes of chase'n pts!!.....I'll be make'n the trip up 281N.....then 35 so. to Kyle!!........

Check'n over the Nat'l pts from the Western tour....could be around 20-25, make'n the tow,mabe afew more from the OK. area!!...hope'n for twice that number overall!!...now that fuel is down some.........

I WAS IN AUSTIN LAST WEEK AND SEEN A TV SPOT FOR THE MIDGET RACE AT KYLE! IT WAS SHOWING DIRT SPRINT CARS DARREN CLATON ON TWO WHEELS! IS KYLE DIRT OR PAVEMENT? WHATS UP TEXAS?:headbang

Didn't see it Duke!!just back late Mon.from Phx.after turn'n in rental car!!....but both shows are pavement here in Tx....Sorry to have missed you in Austin,would've been good excuse to tip a few cold ones n' some BBQ....at mabe Green Mesquite on Barton Springs,so. of River at Lamar Blvd.!!...good stuff......

USAC Midgets March 12th and 13th!

Thursday March 12th Practice Session for the USAC Midgets

The Grandstands will open at 5pm and admission price is $5.00 for all ages. The practice session will be from 6pm to 9pm

Friday March 13th USAC Midgets

The Grandstands will open at 5pm

Admission prices General Admission $12.00 for adults $2.00 off coupons available at Oreilly Auto Parts, Howard Johnsons, Pruitt Ford. Kids Seats $5.00 12 and under.

Pit Passes $30.00 USAC Members $35.00 Non-USAC Members

LLOYD RUBY CLASSIC KICKS OFF MARCH TEXAS MIDGET TRIP

USAC’s two-race National Midget Series trip to the “Lone Star State” in March will open with the inaugural “Lloyd Ruby Classic” at Red River Speedway in Ruby’s hometown of Wichita Falls, Texas.

The March 13 race will be followed by a March 14 USAC National Midget race at Thunder Hill Speedway in Kyle, Texas.



Dave Steele won USAC’s last Midget race in Texas, at Kyle in 2006. It’s been nearly 40 years since Lee Kunzman’s victory at Wichita Falls Speedway, the only previous USAC appearance in Ruby’s hometown. Click here for entire press release.
