That was a good night for me, I was helping on Dave Cubel’s 53 with The late Scott Fisher driving. We didn’t qualify very well but won our heat. Then in the feature we started in the last row and end up 8th, the killer part was we passed a group of cars and had a yellow and got put back behind them. We got by them all again but ran out of laps. I truly believe that we might have finished really close to the top five with a little luck!
