In summary the suit alleges that the Spikers owe Allison over $110,000 in back payments on the lease of the Speedway. Additionally, the suit alleges that the Spikers sold various vehicles, equipment, and property owned by Allison and the Speedway. They are also alleged to have taken or sold concession equipment owned by Allison and the speedway.
Spikers seem like a stand up couple who IMO did an outstanding job at LP. They left the place better than they found it. Im sure I speak for many when I say it was one of my favorite places to be. I wish them well where ever their future takes them

If the allegations are found to be true then I'm not sure that meets the definition of a stand up couple.
So wait, The place was falling apart when Allison Ran it. After the NST fiasco I vowed not to go back.
Enter Spiker, New Restrooms refurbished concessions. Drainage added to infield and off the grandstand side. New clay about ever year, Ice cream stand, bear garden and suites. Shows usually were ran off well and you felt welcome.
I don't know if anything Spiker did was right or wrong. But I do know I don't trust Allison at all and USAC should warry of working with him. I thought the banned Allison at one point for incidents with Staab and Coons.

It doesn't really matter what anyone thinks of the Spikers or of Allison. This sounds pretty cut and dry. If the accusations aren't true, then receipts will prove whether things were paid for. It doesn't really matter what any of us thinks about the people involved. I never cared for Allison when he ran Terre Haute and Putnamville. I remember when he and the former Lawrenceburg promoter tried to kill SprintWeek one year. Since then, I haven't heard his name much, so I figure there have been no problems. He seemed to let Spiker run things. As for Spiker, I thought the physical improvements he made at LPS, Paragon, Bloomington, and Terre Haute were all positive. He didn't always do things the way I would have, but it is his butt on the line and not mine.
