My thoughts exactly. Concrete has certain amount of permanence about it

the original press made me think it was just for the upcoming event. But now I am thinking they just meant no regular events like a weekly series. A few special events per year would be nice. cant see them taking that apart. If you built it like the chili bowl with K barriers maybe. that area is packed with infield parking and partyers during the 500. wonder is they will at least use it for parking then.

So could the NBT500 come back next??? It would be the perfect event for the night of Carb day...(so that would be like the NBTNBT500, or smthn...lol)...but ya, the IRP Silver Crown deal could move to back to like Q wknd or smth, (at least some forms of USAC ran that week not to many years ago)...

They can't run an event the week of Indy on it without some major changes and concessions to the party aspect of the week(end).

Yeah, Carb Night is more or less devoted to concerts; maybe the night before, after Indy Light practice (NBTNBTNBT500)? An alternate use on race day may be as a Snake Pit...with actual snakes.
