Kevin Moler, the promoter at Moler Raceway Park has informed us that the MMSA heat races will be first on the program and our "A" main will be the second feature fri. nite, this places us before the e-mods, should be a much smoother track.

Hope to see you at the track.

So lets see here... 14 MMSA cars at Montpelier and 19 AMSA cars at Twin Cities. So now there are two organizations that aren't fielding full groups of cars battling each other for mini-sprint supremecy. Although I applaude your efforts Bill in trying to get these guys more money, I do hate that it could affect the car counts.

Bill,

How are the 600 doing against all of the 1000-1200's. We are thinking about bringing 2 600's to a couple races but wondering how they are doing against them.

Thanks,

At Waynesfield a 600 car finished 2nd. Other than that good 600 cars have been running around 10th-15th so its not too bad of a difference. Tracks like 35, Salem, and Moler they would have a better chance to run well than the bigger tracks. (obvious)

Agree, it would be nice if they wouldn't schedule against each other as they did Saturday night. The racing was very good, but the number of cars was a bit disappointing for $1000 to win. That has to be disappointing for the promotor most of all since the sanction fee is paid in advance and they probably didn't make any money off the added class. It's really going to split the field on July 12 when MMSA is at Montpelier and AMSA is at Gas City. 2 tracks less than 30 minutes apart on the same night is very poor scheduling. I doubt that either of the races will be changed, and both tracks will suffer.

Yea we were planning on hitting the smaller tracks over the bigger tracks. Do you guys have to run with a front wing... I know some orgs. allow just the one wing and if you dont have a front wing you dont have to run it

Lynsey, The 600's have done fairly well against the 1,000 cars, 4 of the top 10 at Waynesfield were 600's and we have 2 other races with a 600 in the top 10, the 600's are competitive on the 1/4 and less mile tracks, This weekend would be an opportune time to join us, Remember we pay a bonus of $100 to the top 600 and $50 to the second 600 in the feature, If you need additional info email wmay36@insightbb.com or call (859)331-4968, Thanks for your interest.
