Just checked the Lawrenceburg Speedway website and facebook and they have canceled for tonight.

It was the best call they could have made considering, If it was just one or two pop up T storms or a quick line of moving storms, they as always would try to run it. This looks to settle in from 4-6pm and not let up. We were there last fall when it was thunder and lightning all over the hillside behind the track and we barely got a drizzle although it got close enough to clear the stands. twenty minutes later we were racing.

See you next weekend for BOSS Sprint Border Wars 1 Limaland and Lawrenceburg. Always a well supported show in car counts

I can almost guarantee that the picture that was tweeted earlier wasn't taken today. It is nasty here today.

I think you meant to type 9:00-9:11 lol. Sure has been a crappy season weather-wise for The Burg.

LOL, Could be. I think Waynesfield only has one complete NW show in. not possitive.

No rain here 1.3 miles from the track since brief shower around noon. But, skies have looked like they could open up at any time all afternoon. Radar looks like we can expect a deluge shortly. Reds-Nationals are in a rain delay 30 miles to the east. It was the correct call and the ONLY call IMO.
