We are going to try and make the show. Could someone give us a gear ratio to shoot for as we aren't up to speed yet and a gear change would probably kill us both.
As for the 600cc car racing, wouldn't bother me none, but then I am a little weird, they might see these big old cars and decide to trade up. I probably would like to see them start on the tail for both races.
Whenever we are around those little things they seem to have an infinity for going out of their way and hitting us.
How many cars does the MMSA normally get for a race? I have never been to Chandler, and I might try to make it down there if I get off of work early enough.
Illinisprintfan.... The answer is we have a good field of great people who are competitive, put on a great show, and above all show a lot of respect for each other! We look forward to having you join us this Friday! I promise you will enjoy the group!
Trevor.... Hey buddy, it's Chris from st joe ave.... We need to get you moved up to one of these cars.... Tons of fun and we get to run higher speeds on bigger tracks! Come up Friday and come see me in the pits!
Chris, do you know of anyone that might have a ride open for the race on Friday night? I raced at Haubstadt for the Powri show, and I really want to get in on the MMSA action.

Sorry but we can not allow the 600cc Micros.
Trevor
With their short wheel base and small tires "sidewinders" can be a handful on the larger rougher tracks. The last time we encountered one the guy made a right hand turn right at the start finish line as we were passing him at Haubstadt and took us out.
These Things race just like midgets, and on smaller tracks like 1/4 miles they will give a full midget a heck of a hard time. If you sized them by Horsepower you would call them a 2/3 Midget, and on a small slick track the Midget can't seem to get that last 100 horsepower to the ground.
Maybe you can bum a test drive out of somebody, They sure ain't sidewinders, and a test drive would probably have you wanting to trade up, or >>> if you figured it by the cost per race you would probably be trading "Down".
