and she acted like a professional and showed emotion without acting like a baby!!! did anyone see dancia's interview during the indy race today? she was basically saying that all these guys who are new to the ovals need to pull over and get out of her way...she was talking about that viso guy who was running really fast all day, and since she couldnt pass him i guess he needed to pull over and let her by.....and she went as far as calling scheckter an idiot.......

Ashley is a very attractive race car driver! Great personality like her dad just toned down quite a bit.

We went to Commerce Friday for the beginning of qualifying. In the first round, none of the four Force cars were able to make full passes. When we were talking about it, one of my friends said; "No big deal, there will probably be two Force cars in the finals". Bingo!
Mike Neff's explosion was the first time I had been close to one when it went boom. Impressive fireball.
There was a guy in Pro-modified with a really cool '66 Mustang replica bodied car. He broke loose and did a prolonged 'tank slapper' before getting slowed down. Never did hit anything and the crowd gave him a standing ovation.

Ashley is a 'good egg'. She gave props to her team, too, which I thought was really cool:
“It’s an exciting time, you know, with Danica winning. There are a lot of women in a lot of different motor sports and we’re getting our practice, we’re getting our experience and we’re making our way toward those wins. It’s a good week for women and it’s exciting for the fans to finally have a woman winner in Funny Car, but I know that it’s the 10 guys on my team who got me to this point. I would never be here without them and without ‘Guido’ (crew chief Dean Antonelli) and Ron (assistant crew chief Ron Douglas). I’m proud to be a female in the seat but it’s those guys who got me here.”
Class act all the way. :applaud:
