I'd rather bye tires than a motor and when it's heavy it cuts motors life by 50 percent easy and is hard on equipment and less passing plus kills the low budget teams with little motors
( WELL SAID LOGAN)
I have found that a heavy track eats up tires pretty good if the car is hooked up and not loose.
Either way a slick track is usually more predictable, less rutty; which is very hard on equip. ruts cost lots.
Hi 5 to Dave, can't please everyone man.

A perfect night, A perfect slicky with no ruts and a full field of cars greeted the fans at Lawrenceburg on a PERFECT Weather evening.l

HARF, DARF, BARC and SPARC II were well represented tonight

Big Congrats to Logan Hupp *SPRINT* and Adam Stricker *MOD* on their wins tonight at the Burg.

Logan joined a small elite of drivers who've won back to back races in a Sprinter at the Burg. Im not possitive but Brady Short had three in a row once and Justin Grant has has a couple back to backs. Not sure if any other driver has won two in a row. WOW. Think maybe TMez has done it

Shawn Westerfield passed Hupp in four on the 23rd lap but Hupp held on by ducking back under Westerfeld, He tried again on the final corner but couldn't stick it.

Early fastest on the track KRob finished third followed by deep starting Joss Moffatt Racing and Gabbard. T.J Heil won his first heat and had a top ten. Looks like he's on fire. Only one flip tonight and fifteen of the 20 starters finished. Hope David Applegate is ok, Only caught the tail of what looked like a nasty flip.

I don't know what happened to Mike Miller who led the first 8 circuts convincingly before fading and then seemed to loose power at times before stopping on lap 18, It was while the yellow was waving for him that Applegate got upside down.

15 year old Adam Stricker's win was hugely popular. He wasn't seriously challenged as he feathered the inches from the wall cushion on both ends looking like a crafty veteran

Stayed for the always fun and competitive Street Stocks and hit the road, Home a hour away at 11:30 sharp.

Fun night, Great weather even though a cool breeze started blowing toward the grandstand for the final couple features. A light jacket was plenty.

Thanks to the Rudisells for their hospitality to the clubs. Thanks to all the teams who came out, I know the options are many but you run before a good crowd of fans who follow and apreciate the hard work you do.

It was a great and fun night!

just out of curiosity, what is 'king of the Midwest?', is it like 'king of Indiana sprints' only more so or something?

Heats won by T.J. Heil, Logan Hupp, and Mike Miller

Feature

1-Logan Hupp - for the second week in a row
2-Sean Westerfeld - great duel for the final 5 laps or so
3-Kyle Robbins - very nice run
4-Joss Moffatt - moved forward nicely
5-Dalton Gabbard
6-Landon Simon-from 12th

Simon was nearly taken out twice, first by Applegate, then on a restart by Gabbard.
Applegate upside down with 5 to go. Got out O.K. Car didn't look too bad.

That's all I got.
Landon Simon put on quite a show last night. I watched 4 times he could have had a bad outcome. The 2 you mentioned as well as with Moffatt and it really scared me when Miller lost power coming out of 2 but with heads up driving by Landon he got out of the throttle, although losing 2 positions, he saved his and Miller's car. He did great moving up 6 positions but his finishing position did not reflect how great of a job he did on the track.
