Though I don't know all specifics of your car, I don't think so. I bought my Nervo for a bit more than that, and after upgrading shocks, springs, gears, wheels, heims, rods, etc, I have double in it now that what I bought it for. I'd be shocked if someone didn't jump on it. Engine is worth $200, Pit Cart is $100.

I also, not knowing the specifics of the car will say "not a bad deal at all" My father ran Quarter midgets with my nephew for three years and seemed to have spent ALOT more than that when getting started. My daughter ran karts for 4 years and my initial investment on a 3 year old kart with nothing spare was $1500.00. (The next year with everything new and spare everything: $9,500.00. Having a blast racing with my daughter: priceless)

Thats a good price. If you can't sell it on E-bay try Quartermidgets.org they have a good classified section. I would even take it out to the track and try and sell it. I paid $2000 for our (new) used car and had to due a lot of updating

Looks to be well kept. The one thing from the pictures I noticed is that it is a 4 bar car (I hope I am right about this) with no spring suspension. Am I right? I know that they still run on some of the dirt QM tracks, but I do not see many at all running on the pavement tracks. Another thing to consider is there spare parts available for the car.
As far a pricing goes, that seems reasonable.
